Every item offered here at the Minnesota Dog Store
is guaranteed to have passed some demanding tests by our panel of
Quality Control Specialists (pictured above).

The Dog Leash must be pulled on, Rawhide must be chewed on, a Dog Collar must be modeled, a Dog Bed must be napped on.

.....the life of a Quality Control Specialist is not an easy one!.....

~ Let me introduce you to this panel who takes such pride in their work. (l to r) ~

TAZ is a Griffon Terrier who started his career 14 years ago visiting local nursing      homes while staying at the Humane Society.  His job was to bring a smile to the      faces of the elderly and he was very good at it.  TAZ is the supervisor who                      keeps our panel in line.  After all.....Would you argue with a face like that?

TROUBLE is a Scottish Terrier who found herself abandoned on a very cold                       winter night.  When I opened the door to invite her in to warm up, my husband       said "Well, here comes Trouble."  And she's earned her name ever since!

JESSE was the victim of some boys who thought she would be a good target for             practice with their BB gun.  Though she has 3 scars less than an inch from her           eyes, she never hesitated to give us her complete and unconditional love when         we adopted her.    Jesse thinks her official title is "95 Lb Lap Dog".

LOU is a Blue Doberman who was used in a breeding operation.  The breeders               apparently felt like he had too many health challenges to be beneficial to them       and he was dumped at an animal shelter where he lived out of a large crate for         well over a year. He still has health challenges ~ now we battle them as a family.

Blue is a beautiful Bassett Hound who LOVES to pose in front of a camera!  Blue is     the emotional one of the group and reminds the others that they must be nice...     OR ELSE!  Blue takes his job seriously ~ Blue takes EVERYTHING seriously!
~~~~~MAKE A DIFFERENCE~~~~~
Do you want to make a world of difference in the life of an animal?
The internet has offered world-wide exposure to those animals sitting patiently inthe animal shelters.  As wonderful as this is, it also presents a new challenge.  Once a potential forever home has been approved, there is the issue of location.
All they ask is a chance to know that they are loved.
Won't you help to make that dream come true?
If you are considering the addition of a pet to your family, I would encourage you to visit your local animal shelters in your search.  There are also many veterinary practices now who offer a 2nd chance to those animals who need a helping hand.   One other option that many don't think of is to check in with their local animal impound facility.  Those animals will only have a window of 5 days in most cases to find their way into someone's heart.  These are definitely the "last chance" animals who quite often have done nothing wrong more than ending up in the hands of irresponsible owners.  You will be surprised how many purebred and very desirable animals end up in these circumstances!
